But after you get the labels off and soaking in PBW, your stuck with this incredibly sticky glue attached to the vials.
How do you get it off? Goo Gone!
Spray it on and let it soak for a minute. I then used a paper towel to wipe it off. 1 paper towel made it through about 4 vials. I kept flipping to a clean spot until finished. I then tossed them in a sink of soapy water:
I then used a clean white towel to give them a second wipe / drying. And what a-boom! Clean.
I then cut the black safety seal off. I could not thing of a reason to keep them on.
I also noticed that the semi-clear lid liners had growths and who knows what else on them. Mostly between the liner and the lid. I promptly removed them and washed the lids in soapy water.
After drying, I tossed everything back into the clean bucket. I will re-clean and sanitize before use.
I am also testing if they are top shelf dishwasher safe.
They survived the top shelf of my dishwasher. So they are safe in my dishwasher. You will have to test on your own equipment.
